COVID-19 SPECIAL INFORMATION

Subject to new administrative directives and if the pandemic persists, we would like to thank visitors for bringing the masks and hydroalcoholic gel necessary for the duration of the show.

Due to the risks associated with the development of coronavirus, the recommendations of the Chambre Syndicale de la Facture Instrumentale (CSFI www.csfi-musique.fr which published a guide to best practices of wind instruments to protect against Covid 19) and a final opinion from the medical profession, the testing of wind instruments by visitors will not be possible during the International Early Music Festival « The Polyfolies of the Recorder and its Universe » :

Wind instruments :

  • Visitors will not be allowed to try the wind instruments.

  • Exhibitors will be pleased to give you explanations and play the instruments for you.

  • You will be able to select the instrument you wish to buy and have it set aside for you.

  • However, you will have to agree on respecting a 10-day period before playing this instrument yourself.

  • The maker will commit to taking the instrument back in case it would not meet your expectations after you have played it at home.

  • We strongly advise you to come with one of your own instruments so as to help the exhibitor adjust to your playing technique.

Other instruments :

  • Visitors will be able to try them, provided they wear a mask and wash their hands carefully, before and after trying the instrument.

  • Exhibitors are committed to sanitizing the instruments very regularly, with an appropriate disinfectant solution.

Concerts :

  • The number of seats will be limited so as to respect physical distancing.

  • The stage is far enough from the audience to ensure a good protection.

  • After each concert, the audience will be able to speak with musicians, provided everybody is wearing a mask and respecting physical distancing.

RECORDARA kindly requests all of you – audience, musicians, exhibitors, volunteers, guests, visitors to comply with the coronavirus prevention rules throughout the International Early Music Festival « The Polyfolies of the Recorder and its Universe ».
